- First Division - Everton win the 1914-15 title.
- FA Cup - Sheffield United beat Chelsea 3-0.
- The outbreak of World War I means that first-class football is suspended at the end of the 1914-15 season, with many footballers signing up to fight for their country. The FA Cup and Football League are not contested, although regional leagues and cups are set up in their place.
