A62 road

The A62 is a major road in England.

The road is approximately 65 km (40 miles). It runs north east from Manchester through Failsworth and Oldham before crossing the Pennines into West Yorkshire. Continuing through Marsden, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, Liversedge and Birstall before terminating just short of Leeds city centre.

It is paralleled by part of the M62 the Trans-Pennine motorway, which is numbered for it.Template:UK-road-stub
