Adeva

Adeva is the stage name of Patricia Daniels, a female African American house music and R&B artist from Paterson, New Jersey, United States. Born in 1960, she was the youngest of six children.

Career
Noted for her powerful vocals, she released a cover of the Aretha Franklin hit "Respect" in 1989 and released her debut album Adeva! in the same year. She went on to collaborate with Frankie Knuckles in 1995. She has also worked with Eric Prydz in 2004 on his song "In and Out".
