Agnes Baden-Powell

Template:Portalpar Agnes Baden-Powell (1858 - 2nd June, 1945) became the first president of the Girl Guides when it was formed in 1910. She was sister to Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the world scouting movement, and was asked by him to organise Girl Guides in the United Kingdom. She started Rosebuds, later renamed Brownies (Girl Guides) for younger girls in 1914.
She stepped down as president of the Girl Guides in 1917 and was replaced by Olave Baden-Powell Sir Baden-Powells wife. She remained as vice-president of the Girl Guides until her death at age 86.fr:Agnès Baden-Powell it:Agnes Baden-Powell ja:アグネス・ベーデン=パウエル
