Red Sea Governorate (Arabic: "El Bahr el Ahmar" البحر الأحمر) is one of the governorates of Egypt. It is located in the utmost southeast of the country, between the Nile and the Red Sea. Its Arabic name literally means The Red Sea. It has an international border with Sudan to the south. Its capital is Hurghada.
