The City of Banyule is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 63 square kilometres. In 2001, it had a population of 118,000.
Greg Ryan is the Mayor of the City of Banyule. He shot into fame this year after being awarded by the Municipal Association of Victoria the prize for "Victoria's Most Popular Mayor: 2005"
