Buckeye

Buckeye may refer to:
- The name used for several species of trees of the genus Aesculus, or the related Mexican Buckeye (genus Ungnadia). A buckeye tree is often thought to bring good luck. When you open up a spiny buckeye pod, the inside brown nut is smooth and shiny, resembling a chestnut.
- Several places in the United States:
- The US State of Ohio, popularly called the Buckeye State.
- The intercollegiate athletic teams of The Ohio State University are known as the Buckeyes.
- A breed of chicken, see buckeye (chicken).
- The Buckeye, named passenger train operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad between Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- A species of butterfly, the Common buckeye
- A peanut butter and chocolate candy made to resemble the nut of an Ohio Buckeye tree.
- A type of railway coupling used to connect locomatives and rolling-stock.
