Earl of Holland
From Free net encyclopedia
The title Earl of Holland was created in the Peerage of England on September 24, 1649 for Henry Rich, 1st Baron Kensington, younger son of Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick. His son Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Holland became Earl of Warwick in 1673, and Earl of Holland became a subsidiary title for those earls until both titles became extinct in 1759.
