Gagetown, New Brunswick

Gagetown is a small village in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. It was the home of Sir Samuel Leonard Tilley, one of the fathers of Canadian Confederation.

The village is a historic Loyalist community situated on the west bank of the Saint John River.

The nearby army training centre, CFB Gagetown, takes its name from the village, although its headquarters are in Oromocto. Despite sharing the name, the village of Gagetown has no direct access to the base and its massive training area.Template:NewBrunswick-geo-stub
