The Human Beinz were an American rock band from Youngstown, Ohio, originally known as The Human Beings. They began their professional career with a devoted local fanbase, recording covers of songs by Them, Yardbirds, The Who and Bob Dylan. The group was also the first to record "The Pied Piper" which later became a hit for Crispian St. Peters. The group's reputation was as masters of song cover interpetations.
They signed to Capitol Records in 1967 and released "Nobody but Me", a cover of the Isley Brothers and their most well-known single. They released "Nobody but Me" that year and Evolutions the following year, but the band broke up soon after that. In 1968 their recording of "Turn on your Love Light" was #1 for six weeks in Japan and a tour followed. "It's Fun to Be Clean", a snappy, Penny Lanesque tune, was the B-side to "Turn on Your Love Light". Their label at the time in 1968 Capitol Records released the single "Hold on Baby" only in Japan where it went to No #1. Quentin Tarantino in 2004 used "Nobody But Me" on his soundtrack for Kill Bill Vol.1. The Human Beinz and "Nobody But Me" are also featured on two compilation C.D.s ("ESPNs' The Greatest Crowd-Rockin' Anthems of all time" and J&R's Music Worlds' Rock and Rolls Greatest Hits of All Time").
The group is continuing in 2006. They have made a soon to be released album titled "Garage Vol.1". The album is a tribute to the one hit wonder groups of the 1960s. It is produced and engineered by The Human Beinz new members Professor Ed McCarthy and Sal Crisafi. The album C.D. was recorded at Cloud Nine Studios in Little Meadows Pa. The Human Beinz are back on the concert scene with a powerhouse live show. The group recently Headlined in Concert at The Hard Rock Cafe at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.
On December 15, 2005, The Human Beinz were the only rock and roll Band present at the rededication ceremony of The World Famous "Apollo Theatre" on Harlem's 125th street. The main speaker was former President Bill Clinton. The former U.S. President also chatted with new Human Beinz Keyboardist Sal Crisafi.

The proceeds will go to the Creation of a Monument and bust of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Newburgh, N.Y.
