Fair use in Rachel Corrie

It is a historically accurate photo. The act depicted has been deemed important by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and other commentators on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The original author is not known, but credit is given to the location Wikipedia obtained it from - the International Solidarity Movement.
It is presumed to be of much lower resolution than the original photograph (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality) and is used as a thumbnail in the article itself - smaller still.
It is necessary to meet the Wikipedia requirements of a "neutral point of view": the neutrality of reports that do not include this image has been questioned by the ADL and other commentators.
The photo was widely reproduced both by websites and by other means. Wikipedia's redistribution has no significant additional effect on the market or potential market for the work.
