Description: This near vertical and detailed view of the eye of Typhoon Odessa was photographed somewhere in the Western Pacific, exact location unknown. The presence of a tight gyre and well formed eye, bordered by a cloud berm in the center, are all indicators of a very powerful and devastating typhoon with very high internal cyclonic wind speeds.
