John DiMaggio

John DiMaggio (born September 4 1968) is an Italian-American voice actor, and a native of North Plainfield, New Jersey, known primarily for playing the robot Bender in the 20th Century Fox animated series Futurama.
He is not related to baseball star Joe DiMaggio.

DiMaggio is a former stand-up comedian, and has several on-screen credits, such as Steve Ballmer in the docudrama about the history of Microsoft-Apple Computer, Pirates of Silicon Valley, and as the recurring character Dr. Sean Underhill on Chicago Hope. However, he is predominantly a voice-over actor, having been credited for roles in the following works:
- Jackie Chan Adventures (Hak Fu)
- Samurai Jack (the Scotsman)
- Kim Possible (as the voices of Dr. Drakken and Motor Ed)
- Teen Titans (Brother Blood)
- American Dragon: Jake Long (Fu Dog)
- In the video game Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, as the English voice of Wakka of Besaid and Kimahri Ronso.
- In the video game Spider-Man 2
- In the video game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (the voices of Rhino and Jack)
- In the video game Crash Nitro Kart (Tiny Tiger)
- In the video game Kingdom Hearts II (additional voices for the pirates)
- In the anime movie Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (several voices)
- Recently, he voiced General Grievous' first appearance in Volume 1 of Star Wars: Clone Wars, but didn't return in Volume II.
