Lee Alvin DuBridge (1901 – 1994) was a U.S. educator and physicist. He was born September 21 1901 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He graduated from Cornell College in 1922. He served as president of the California Institute of Technology between 1946 and 1969. He then served as the presidential science advisor from 1969 to 1970. He died on pneumonia at a retirement home in Duarte, California on January 23 1994.
