Image:MTA Bridges and Tunnels logo.png The Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, described to the public by the "popular name" MTA Bridges and Tunnels, or MTA B&T, is an affiliate agency of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, a public benefit corporation, that operates all intrastate toll bridges in New York City.

Rates vary by bridge/tunnel and by vehicle.

All rates listed here are regular cash rates effective March 13, 2005. E-ZPass users pay discounted tolls at most facilities, and certain classes of users are eligible for even larger discounts; for example, Staten Island residents are eligible for discounted crossings of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.

  • Triborough/Throgs Neck/Bronx-Whitestone Bridges, tunnels (charged in both directions):
Cars: $4.50
Heavy Vehicles (2-7 axles): $9-34, $5 per additional axle
Motorcycles: $2
Buses: $3.50
  • Verrazano Narrows Bridge (charged westbound only):
Cars: $9
Heavy Vehicles (2-7 axles): $18-68, $10 per additional axle
Motorcycles: $4
Buses: $7
  • Marine Parkway/Cross Bay/Henry Hudson bridges (charged in both directions):
Cars: $2.25
Heavy Vehicles (2-7 axles): $4.50-17, $2.50 per additional axle
Motorcycles: $2
Buses: $1.75
