The MathWorks is a privately-held, mid-size, multi-national corporation which specializes in technical computing software. Their main products include MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow. The company was founded by Jack Little (President & CEO), Cleve Moler (Chief Scientist), and Steve Bangert (now inactive) in 1984. The headquarters is in Natick, Massachusetts and currently employs nearly 1,500 people world-wide (over 66% of which work at the company headquarters). It is a regular sponsor of PBS and NPR.
Employees of The MathWorks refer to themselves as MathWorkers.
