Myu "Mew" Azama (安座間美優, b. December 26, 1986) is an idol actress in Japan. She was born in the Okinawa Prefecture. Her hobbies include Dance, calligraphy, and making sweets. Her agency is VERTEX. At 169 cm, she is a tall girl by Japanese standard.

Her first internationally-noticed role is as the amazonian Sailor Senshi of courage and thunder, Sailor Jupiter in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon She models in the Japanese Seventeen magazine and also had a few singles from the live action show Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

Azama, who portrays Sailor Jupiter in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is thought of by her co-stars as highly girlish and demure, the opposite of her forthright and tomboyish character.
Azama signs her name "Mew," using Roman characters. She explains it in her profile: "美優 is read Myū. I was named from Koizumi Kyoko's famous song 'MEW of dawn'. So, the inscription is also MEW"

2005/2006 She appears as a guest star (at the moment) in the Japanese series, named "Gachibaka". Her role in this series is a rebellious school girl named "Rie".
