Trivia
- Nelvana had a planet named after it in the Star Wars series, for which it did all of the animation projects through 2003. In the Expanded Universe cartoon series Star Wars: Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker goes to planet "Nelvana" in Chapters 23-25. This is most likely to pay homage to their Star Wars animation predecessors.
- The company also had a planet named after it in the Star Trek universe. On the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Defector, a planet named Nelvana III is mentioned.
