New Cross station
From Free net encyclopedia
Template:London stations New Cross station is a London Underground and mainline station in New Cross, about 600m from New Cross Gate station. It is a southern terminus of the East London Line, the next station being Surrey Quays. It is in zone 2.
Mainline services are operated by South Eastern Trains from either Cannon Street or Charing Cross out to north and mid Kent. The next stations are London Bridge to the north and St Johns to the south.
Phase 2 of the expansion plans for the Fleet Line would have seen the station served by tube services to central London and Lewisham.
