Image:OpAthenaSeal.jpg Operation Athena is the Canadian Forces contribution to the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. The unit deployed is called Task Force Kabul, comprising of about 1,900 personnel (1,700 within Kabul). Their duties include patrols within the Canadian area, digging wells, and building repair. It has cost 840 millions dollars and it is followed by Operation Archer from February 2006.
