The following is a list of Presidents of North Korea since its establishment.
- Kim Doo-bong (1948-1957)
- Choi Yong-kun (1957-1972)
- Kim Il-sung (since 1972)
Kim Il-sung died in 1994, but has since been named the Eternal President. His son and successor, Kim Jong-il, is thus not given the title of President, nor, presumably, shall any of his successors.
