The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is the world's largest group of humanitarian non-governmental organisations. The Movement is composed of the following bodies:
- The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a committee of Swiss nationals based in Geneva, Switzerland, which leads the international movement and which has special responsibilities under international humanitarian law.
- The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRCS), which is the composed body of all the national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies and was established to coordinate international relief actions and promote humanitarian activities.
- The 181 individual national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies. These are listed below:
