Mike Paradinas

Mike Paradinas, who works primarily under the name µ-ziq (pronounced music), is a British musician in the field of electronic music. Paradinas created and runs the Planet Mu record label. He is most known for his Intelligent Dance Music (IDM) tracks ("Carpet Muncher" and "Brace Yourself" in particular).

Paradinas teamed up with Richard D. James (Aphex Twin) in 1996 to release Mike & Rich (often mistakenly called "Expert Knob Twiddlers", which is the subtitle that is displayed on the CD's front cover (the line between the name of the collaborative project and the CD's title was blurred). The album is thematically full of odd game-related noises and playful melodies.
