Säffle Municipality is a Swedish municipality in the province Värmland, in west central Sweden. Its seat is in Säffle with 9,500 inhabitants, at 70 meters elevation.

Geography
Administratively the municipality also has a part belonging to the province of Dalsland. Administratively the municipality is an entity of Värmland County.
The municipality covers a peninsula in Lake Vänern, and has a large fresh water archipelago.

History
Säffle received a charter in 1951 and is thus a City in Sweden. Its arms are from 1950, and depict the blue eagle of Värmland rising from the Säffle Channel.
