Sailing at the 2004 Summer Olympics

From Free net encyclopedia

Sailing at the 2004 Summer Olympics took place at the Agios Kosmas Olympic Sailing Centre with eleven gold medals being contested.

The events were split into four classes for men, four for women, and three classes that were open to both men and women. Since the 2000 Summer Olympics the open keelboat event in the Soling-class was removed, while the women's keelboat event in the Yngling-class was added. The Star-class was converted from an open to a men's only event.
