James Bond franchise

To date Samantha Bond has been in four James Bond movies. She was preceded by Caroline Bliss and Lois Maxwell. In November 2004, media reports indicated that she would not be returning to the role for the upcoming Casino Royale.

In a BBC 4 interview she remarked that she'd be retiring from her role with the departure of Pierce Brosnan. Although a short-lived Moneypenny, Bond says she does have at least one claim to fame: she was the Moneypenny that kissed 007, rather than be kissed by him.
