Stakeout

The 1987 movie Stakeout stars Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez, Madeleine Stowe, Aidan Quinn, and Forest Whitaker.
The screenplay was written by Jim Kouf, who also wrote and directed Disorganized Crime (1989). In fact, both movies are very similar in regard to their mixture of comedy and action. However, in Disorganized Crime the crooks are the "good guys".

Madeleine Stowe's character is "Irish-Mexican", and Madeleine Stowe is half-English, half-Hispanic (Costa Rican).
