Susono, Shizuoka

Susono (裾野市; -shi) is a city located in Shizuoka, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 52,723 and the density of 380.97 persons per km². The total area is 138.39 km².
The city was founded on January 1, 1971.

In 1982, the City of Susono established a sister city relationship with the City of Frankston, in Melbourne, Australia.
