Taman Tun Dr. Ismail

Taman Tun Dr. Ismail is a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
It is mostly an upper-middle class housing area with some commercial development. Situated on the border of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, it is in the vicinity of Bandar Utama, and Mutiara Damansara, (a suburb of Petaling Jaya in the state of Selangor).
The commonly used appellation is "Taman Tun", with the name being taken from YABhg Tun Dr. Ismail b. Dato' Abdul Rahman (1915-1973), Malaysia’s first ambassador to the United States and Malaysian representative to the United Nations, before becoming Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister.
