Talala is a town located in Rogers County, Oklahoma. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 270.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 270 people, 96 households, and 72 families residing in the town. The population density was 325.8/km² (836.3/mi²). There were 111 housing units at an average density of 133.9/km² (343.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 72.96% White, 0.37% African American, 19.63% Native American, 1.48% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 5.56% from two or more races. 0.37% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 96 households out of which 45.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.4% were married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.0% were non-families. 24.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.81 and the average family size was 3.32.
In the town the population was spread out with 33.0% under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 29.6% from 25 to 44, 20.4% from 45 to 64, and 8.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 101.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 103.4 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $40,938, and the median income for a family was $50,357. Males had a median income of $34,583 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the town was $14,604. 12.1% of the population and 10.0% of families were below the poverty line. 13.5% of those under the age of 18 and 0.0% of those 65 and older were living below the poverty line.
