Tancred can refer to:
- The Norman noble Tancred of Hauteville
- Tancred, Prince of Bari, son of Roger II of Sicily, and Prince of Taranto from 1132 to 1138
- Tancred, Prince of Galilee, a leader of the First Crusade (also sometimes called Tancred of Hauteville). He also appears as a major character (Tancredi) in Torquato Tasso's epic poem Jerusalem Delivered. His love affair with the warrior-maiden Clorinda is the subject of numerous operas and paintings.
- Tancred of Sicily, King of Sicily in the late 12th century
- Tancred of Salerno, character in Boccaccio's Decameron
- Tancred, a novel by published in 1847 by Benjamin Disraeli.
