The Crow: Salvation

From Free net encyclopedia

Template:The Crow Image:Mabius crow.JPG The Crow: Salvation was the third movie based on The Crow comic by James O'Barr. It was directed by Bharat Nalluri and released direct to video in 2000 after its distributor cancelled the intended theatrical release. The original movie gained a cult following while the second (The Crow: City of Angels) was poorly received.

The story revolves around Alex Corvis (Eric Mabius) who is wrongly executed for the murder of his girlfriend. He is brought back to life to seek justice, getting revenge on the true murderers. Eventually he discovers a corrupt police force and needs the help of his girlfriend's sister, played by Kirsten Dunst.

Although far from a success, this film was seen to be much better than the other sequel, The Crow: City of Angels.
