Tylöskog

Image:The old border forests.PNGTylöskog is the name of the deep forest between Närke and Östergötland. Click here for a satellite image of the forest. Together with Tiveden and Kolmården it constituted the frontier between the Swedes in Svealand and the Geats in Götaland.
Its name is derived from a locality in the forest and, oddly, the locals hardly use the name.
