Peasants and New Democratic Party Union

Template:Politics of Lithuania The Peasants and New Democratic Party Union' or Union of Farmers and New Democratic Parties (Lithuanian: Valstiečių ir Naujosios demokratijos partijų sąjungos), or VNDS, is an agrarian-conservative political party in Lithuania led by former Prime Minister Kazimiera Prunskienė.

In the 2004 European Parliamentary Elections it gained 7.4% of the vote and returned one MEP. Its candidate Kazimira Prunskiene won at the presidential elections of 13 June 2004 21.4 % of the vote (first round) and 47.4 % in the second round. At the last legislative elections, 10 October 2004, the party won 6.6 % of the popular vote and 10 out of 141 seats.

In February 2006, the VNDS changed its name into "Lithuanian Peasant Nationalists" (LVL - Lietuvos Valstiečiai Liaudininkai).
