Image:Scott Factory.JPGThe Scott Paper Company is a USA-based corporation which manufactures mostly paper based consumer products.
Scott Paper was founded in 1879 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by brothers E. Irvin and Clarence Scott. By 1890 it was the USA's leading manufacturer of toilet paper.
Scott was the first to market disposable paper towels and napkins in the 1930s.
In 1995 Scott Paper merged with the Kimberly-Clark Corporation which continues to market using the Scott brand. Scott Paper Limited, formerly a subsidiary, is no longer affiliated.
