Mustafa Altıoklar is a famous Turkish film director who was born in 1958 in Ankara. Although he graduated in medicine and specialised in physiotherapy he decided to pursue a career as a director, especially after the success of his short film The Scar. His four feature length films as director are:
- İstanbul kanatlarımın altında (Istanbul Beneath My Wings)
- Ağır roman (Cholera Street)
- Asansör (Elevator)
- O şimdi asker (He's in the Army Now)
