Image:EsquintlaGuatemala.jpg Escuintla (sometimes spelled Esquintla) is a small city in south central Guatemala. It is the capital of the department of Escuintla and the administrative seat of Escuintla municipality.
The city of Escuintla is located at Template:Coor d. In 2003 the city had a population of about 68,000 people. It is on the border of the central highlands and the Pacific coastal plain.
