Recruit (from the French recrue, from the verb recroître 'to grow again', i.e. replenish the ranks) can refer to:
- a recently enlisted member of a military or paramilitary corps, still in training (antonym of veteran), as in :
- by analogy, trainees and other neophytes in various walks of (mainly professional) life and organizations
- in art, several movies - see IMDB search
- the Japanese real estate and telecommunications company Recruit
