Galatasaray Lisesi (Mekteb-i Sultani, or School of the Sultans), established in 1481 by Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II, is the most prestigious public high school in Istanbul, Turkey.
It is also famous for being the institution where the european champion soccer team Galatasaray SK was founded.
