- In Medicine, pathography is when somebody writes about a disease, all of its details and symptoms. Pathographies are written in clinical settings.
- In Journalism, a pathography is a biography that overemphasises or sensationalises the negative aspects of the subjects life, eg failure, illness, unhappiness or tragedy.
