Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Tripoli, after the city of Tripoli in Libya, scene of action in the Barbary Wars, and commemorated in the Marines' hymn.
- The first Tripoli (CVE-64) was an escort aircraft carrier in service from 1943 to 1958.
- The second Tripoli (LPH-10) was an Iwo Jima class amphibious assault ship in service from 1966 to 1995.
In addition there is also a fictional Star Trek universe ship known as the USS Tripoli.
