Alenia Aeronautica (formerly Aeritalia) is an aerospace engineering corporation in Italy, a subisidary of Finmeccanica. Aeritalia was originally owned by FIAT.

Alenia is one of the partner companies of the Eurofighter consortium, Eurofighter GmbH and also the Panavia Tornado consortium. The company builds aerostructures and components for a wide range of civil aircraft including the Boeing and Airbus families.

Alenia Aeronautica's main activities comprise design and production of commercial and military aircraft, design and production of aerostructures for military and civil aircraft and - through Aeronavali, a wholly owned company - the overhaul, maintenance and modification of military and civil aircraft. The Company, fully owned by Finmeccanica, is headed by Giorgio Zappa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and has its registered office in Pomigliano d'Arco (Naples). Alenia Aeronautica is a partner of and cooperates with the major aerospace groups, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, EADS, Dassault and BAE Systems.

Quadrics [1] is a wholly owned Alenia Aeronautica company that develops and supplies hardware and software for High Performance Computing. Quadrics' products are QsNet, a proprietary interconnect used in the some of the fastest supercomputers in the world and QsTenG, a range of switches based on 10 Gigabit Ethernet standard.
