The tribe Senecioniae sits within the plant family Asteraceae and contains many genera including the huge assemblage of species within the type genus Senecio. Its members exhibit probably the widest possible range of form to be found anywhere in the entire plant kingdom and include annuals, minute creeping Alpines, perennial herbs, shrubs, climbers, leaf succulents, stem & root succulents, trees and semi-aquatic plants.Template:Asteraceae-stub
