HaloScan is a popular commenting and trackback service for weblogs and websites, allowing visitors to leave feedback on an external Server. The service is often used on blogs in place of default commenting services, such as the Blogger commenting service.
The service is provided for free, although users who have chosen to make donations, called premium users, are given access to more features.
The user installs the service by adding a few lines of code to the webpage that contact the HaloScan server, and everything is thus stored externally on HaloScan.
