Orkney Brewery is a small brewery founded in March 1988 by Roger White at the old schoolhouse in Sandwick, Orkney, Scotland. It is part of Highlands and Islands Breweries.

Image:OrkneyBrewery.jpgThe brewery produces cask ale and filtered beer in bottles, and since October 2005, a lager. In June 2004 the brewery merged with Atlas Brewery to form Highlands and Islands Breweries. Neill Cotton, founder of Atlas Brewery, is Managing Director of Highlands and Islands, while Roger White is Chairman.
Availability
The cask ales are available in various pubs around Britain and at British beer festivals. The filtered bottled ales are sold throughout Britain and in North America.
Beers
The brewery produces six regular beers and a winter seasonal. The most acclaimed and popular being Skullsplitter.
