Edward Greeves was the winner of the inaugural Brownlow Medal in 1924, for the Best and fairest player in the Australian-rules football League. He played with the Geelong Football Club.
Played 124 games Geelong 1923 - 31, 1933. Wore jumper number 20.
He was known by the nickname E "Carji" Greeves.
He is honoured with having the Geelong Football Club's Best and Fairest award named after him, the Carji Greeves Medal.
