Narre Warren is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Casey. Over the years Narre Warren has grown from a semi-rural residential town and is now a major growth corridor in the South-East of Melbourne. In recent years Narre Warren has expanded dramatically, with a multitude of housing developments causing it to expand so that it now conjoins neighbouring suburbs such as Berwick and Cranbourne. Approximately eight houses are being built every day in the area. The population mostly consists of middle-class young families.
The main shopping centre is Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre (named after one of the earlier subdivisions), which comprises a shopping centre and a civic precinct, including the City of Casey offices, Narre Warren Library and Casey ARC (Aquatic and Recreation Centre). Westfield Fountain Gate is one of the largest shopping centres in Australia, being home to almost all major Australian retailers.
