Template:GBthumb East Coker is a village and parish in Somerset, England, situated two miles south of Yeovil in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of 1,781Template:Ref.

Famous residents include actor Trevor Peacock (Jim Trott in the BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley), it is the final resting place of T. S. Eliot and the birthplace of William Dampier. T. S. Eliot named one of the "Four Quartets" poems after the village.
