HMS Llandaff (F42) was a Salisbury-class aircraft direction frigate of the Royal Navy, named after the district of Llandaff in Cardiff, Wales.
The ship was built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. Govan, launched in 1955 and completed in 1958.
She was transferred to the Bangladeshi Navy at Royal Albert Dock London December 10, 1976.

General characteristics
- Displacement: 2,350 tons full load
- Complement: 207
- Armament: twin 4.5 inch (110 mm) Mk 6 turret; two 40 mm Bofors.
- Propulsion: Eight Admiralty standard range diesels in three engine rooms. 2 shafts, 12,380 hp (9.2 MW). 500 KW gas turbine generator installed for trial period but later removed.
- Speed: 25 knots (46 km/h)
- Range: 7,500 miles at 16 knots (12,100 km at 30 km/h).
