Beach Blanket Babylon is a long-running (30+ years) Cabaret show in San Francisco. The plot involves the adventures of Snow White as she searches the world for Prince Charming. Along the way she meets many San Francisco eccentrics and wears extremely large hats. Snow White is currently being played by Kimberly Jensen. The show featutes zany musical spoofs of pop culture The Show's immediate popularity forced it to move to larger quarters at Club Fugazi, a North Beach landmark, where it eventually found a permanent home. Now in its 30th year of sold-out performances, it is an internationally acclaimed San Francisco institution.It has also been performed for wildly enthusiastic audiences in London and Las Vegas. The show continually updates its hilarious parodies of popular icons, adding new characters, songs, and send-ups throughout the year. The show's traveling version performs regularly for conventions and private groups from Tampa Bay, Florida, to Kaanapali, Hawaii.
